If you’re a classical music fan or giving it a go for the first time, this concert directed by internationally award-winning violinist Hyeyoon Park promises to warm your heart.
Join us on an epic journey from the bustling piazzas and romance of Florence, where Tchaikovsky composed his Souvenir de Florence, to the tranquil beauty of the river that separates the Welsh and English countryside in Finzi’s Severn Rhapsody, to Fanny Mendelssohn’s impassioned String Quartet.
You’ll also experience the premiere of Sinfonia Cymru’s version of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto for chamber orchestra, and hear our new Leader Haim Choi, as she joins Hyeyoon to perform Shostakovich’s Duets for Two Violins.
